A walled-in Palm Springs home owned by Jenson Button, the retired Formula 1 world championship racing driver, is up for sale at $2.3 million.

Dubbed “The Mesa Bungalows,” the two-story villa inspired by the Beverly Hills Hotel’s pink and palm-green color scheme has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Records show Button and his Playboy Playmate-turned-interior designer wife, Brittny, bought the property in September 2021 for $1.775 million.

The listing markets the circa-1937 Spanish-style home as “the perfect short-term vacation rental investment opportunity or private desert getaway” and is available furnished.

Extensively renovated by the Buttons, it sits on a three-quarter-acre double lot in The Mesa enclave at the base of Mount San Jacinto with a kidney-shaped pool and spa.

There’s also a cascading waterfall, tiered fountain and white iron gazebo.

Inside, a fireplace warms the open-concept kitchen and living room.

One of the en suite bedrooms has a private sun deck.

The upper patio features a pergola-covered outdoor kitchen with a built-in gas grill, as well as a dining area, fireplace and custom decorative daybed.

Joseph Babineaux of Windermere Desert Properties has the listing.

Button, 43, retired from Formula 1 in 2017. Today, the British champion occasionally appears as a motorsports commentator and serves as a brand ambassador of the Coachbuilt whisky label. His wife, with whom he shares two young children, was featured as Playmate of the Month in the January 2015 issue of Playboy magazine. She is now the founder and designer of the interior design studio Button Interiors.

Before the Buttons owned it, the home belonged to Josh Evans, a filmmaker and screenwriter. He is the son of Ali MacGraw and Robert Evans and the stepson of Steve McQueen.
